As the 2024 Olympics unfold in Paris, a small piece of Denmark finds its place in the heart of the city. The Denmark Pavilion, located just 150 meters from the iconic Arc de Triomphe by Maison du Danemark, invites you on a unique journey.
At its core, the pavilion focuses on Denmark's renowned quality of life, offering visitors a firsthand experience of the everyday wonders that define Danish living.
Explore thematic exhibits on design, food, green transition, and health, where guests can draw inspiration from innovative Danish solutions addressing contemporary challenges.
More than a mere showcase, the pavilion extends an invitation for visitors to immerse themselves in the Danish way of life, potentially sparking an appetite for Denmark.
From July 26 to August 11, the pavilion welcomes visitors daily from 11 am to 10 pm, providing a complimentary walkthrough of the exhibition. During this period, the location has been transformed into a Danish exhibition space, a collaborative effort by architects BRIQ and Lendager.
The structure, thoughtfully crafted, seamlessly blends Danish innovation, green thinking, and lifestyle expression, creating an immersive environment that mirrors the essence of Danish culture.
Additionally, the adjacent Frederik's Church transforms into a cultural stage, hosting intimate concerts, special events, and serving as a window to Danish life through video installations.
Well renowned Danish companies and personalities will take part in the exhibition. LEGO Group and BESTSELLER’s brands JACK & JONES and VERO MODA are already on board as partners. Stay tuned for upcoming announcements about the program and more partners as the event approaches.
Led by VisitDenmark with support from the Danish Ministry of Industry, Business and Financial Affairs and philanthropic association Realdania, this initiative aspires to craft an unforgettable experience. The Pavilion, a cultural hub, promises entertainment, exploration, and a dialogue on Denmark's distinctive contributions on the global stage.
The Denmark Pavilion
For 17 days during the Olympic Games in Paris 2024, visitors from around the world can explore The Denmark Pavilion by Maison du Danemark and Frederik's Church in the heart of Paris. Here, visitors can immerse themselves in the everyday wonders of Denmark. The exhibition runs from July 26 to August 11, with a primary focus on quality of life. This initiative aims to strengthen global awareness of Denmark, highlighting innovative solutions within design, food, green transition, and health. The pavilion is constructed within existing premises and incorporates recycled chairs, creatively designed by Danish architects Lendager Group. These chairs will be repurposed after the event. The interior and exhibition are designed by BRIQ. The initiative is a collaborative effort between the Danish Ministry of Industry, Business and Financial Affairs, VisitDenmark, and philanthropic association Realdania. The Denmark Pavilion warmly welcomes everyone, offering free entry every day from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The largest of Denmark’s islands, Zealand, is where you’ll find the capital city, Copenhagen. With almost 1.4 million inhabitants, the capital takes up a large part of the total population of 5.96 million.
